Parlorfold is a free, original household-history game. Eight rooms each hold nine everyday objects and three era panels. You read the object rather than the date: its material, its power source, the labour it saved or shifted, and the infrastructure it quietly assumed. Place all nine correctly and the room unfolds seventy-two researched notes plus an original three-era scene.
Dates are approximate household snapshots. Adoption varied with region, wealth, infrastructure, and who did the work. The Rowan House papers are clearly labelled original composite fiction; the object histories are sourced. The player guide explains who the game is for, how the systems work, and exactly what is stored, and the sources and method page carries the research trail.
